Background Information The Housing Authority has a total of 70 apartment units. These are well-maintained and attractive. The modern and clean apartments are furnished with stoves, refrigerators and window coverings. One check pays the rent and includes all utilities and maintenance. Telephone and cable T.V. not included. All 70 apartments are ground level. Facilities Community Room: Each project has their own Community Room for your use. We call this your extra living room. There are kitchen facilities for serving a meal. Tenants use these rooms for family reunions, dinners, birthday parties, etc. by reservation with the Management. Laundry: Each project has its own coin operated laundry facilities. Clotheslines are available for those that like to hang clothes in nice weather. Social Activities: These include:
Everyone is welcome to take part in any or all that they desire. Maintenance:
All yard work, snow removal and repair is handled by the Management. We have excellent maintenance staff and are proud to provide you with maintenance free living. All you do is report maintenance problem(s) to the Management Office. If we can't handle the problem, we will contact someone who can. Eligibility: The Housing is for anyone who is elderly (62 or over), handicapped or disabled and can live independently; and is income eligible. All income must be verified by third party and includes Social Security, interest from assets, pensions, VA benefits, etc. Adjustments to your income to be deducted from income include prescription drugs, eye glasses, hearing aids, and one health insurance policy. These also must be verified. Remember one monthly payment includes rent, heat and lights, maintenance, plus availability of activities and the enjoyment of others your age. Rents are reviewed at least annually, unless interim reviews are requested. Other Items to Consider:
